I’m a textile sculpture artist based in Yorkshire, UK. Working primarily with hand-sewn techniques, my practice explores the space where memory, nature, and storytelling meet, gently recreating wildlife in a way that feels both familiar and quietly nostalgic.

Right now, my focus is on capturing fleeting moments, the hum of a bumblebee in flight, the shimmer of wings catching soft light and translating them into sculptural pieces that feel like little memories made tangible.

I work with materials like faux fur, wool, thread and clay, combining traditional textile techniques with a more contemporary, intuitive approach to soft sculpture. Every piece is made slowly and intentionally by hand, with care taken to honour natural form, texture, and movement.

I grew up in the rural north of England, and that connection to the countryside continues to shape my work. The bees, moths and woodland creatures I create aren’t just observations of the natural world, they’re invitations to pause, to look closer, and to feel something quietly familiar.

Recently, my practice has started to shift toward more intimate presentations of my work, pieces housed under glass cloches, inspired by natural history collections but reimagined with softness and sentiment. I’m drawn to the idea of capturing a moment in time and preserving it, not just the form of a creature, but the feeling it evokes.
