Pippin the giant garden snail is a friendly snail. He's well known by all of the garden critters and has even made acquaintances with the local owl. He lives under the broken terracotta plant pot which sits in the corner of the secret garden, shaded by the old willow tree.
Pippin is entirely made from fabric. He has been carefully stitched together and painted by hand.
He has been heavily filled with synthetic stuffing which gives him a firm and weighty structure. His shell is hand painted and finished with a coating of thin textured gloss to give it the appearance of delicate but strong armour. His body is covered in small glossy spots which add a slimy looking texture. His curious eyes are glassy and are positioned at the end of his adjustable tentacles.
